邂逅 Encounter

思いがけず、めぐり合う。紫と金の渦の中心に、ひとつの円が浮かぶ。正面から光を当てると、重ねた絵具が金と真珠色にきらめき、背後から光を透かすと、画面は紫と薔薇色に染まり、まったく別の表情を見せる。

An unexpected meeting. At the center of a swirl of violet and gold floats a single circle. Lit from the front, the layered paint glimmers in gold and pearl; lit from behind, the canvas turns violet and rose, revealing an entirely different face.

受けとったもの / What I Received

今回の作品からは、
とても強い生命力を感じます。

This work carries a remarkably strong life force.

中心に浮かぶ円は、
すべてのエネルギーが生まれ、
そして還っていく
場所のようにも見えます。
そこから四方へと伸びていく形は、
まるで龍が姿を変えながら、
自由に空間を泳いでいるようです。

The circle at its center seems like the place where all energy is born, and to which it returns. The forms reaching out in every direction look like a dragon, changing shape as it swims freely through space.

この絵の面白いところは、
光によってまったく違う表情を
見せてくれることです。
光を透かすと、
それまで見えていなかった色や形が
浮かび上がってきます。

What makes this painting fascinating is how completely it changes with the light. When light passes through it, colors and forms that were hidden until then begin to emerge.

これって、
人も同じなのかもしれませんね。
まだ自分でも気づいていない
一面や可能性が、
きっと誰にでもあるんだと思います。

Perhaps people are the same. I believe everyone has sides and possibilities they have not yet noticed in themselves.
